Bold and stylish, the 2025 Ford Explorer is a prime example of a mainstay three-row SUV that does everything you need it to do. It’s a family-friendly vehicle with ample cargo space for day-to-day needs as well as carrying extra luggage. It also comes with the brand-new Ford Digital Experience and lots of great safety technology. You’ll love exploring the roads near Milwaukee in your Explorer!
Protection On Your Adventures
The Explorer has features that help protect you wherever you go. Lane-Keeping Assist, Lane-Keeping Alert, and Driver Alert are standard. Front parking sensors are standard on all but the Active trim, as is a 360-degree camera. Each model has a rearview camera with backup assist grid lines.
Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+ is standard on the base trim, and the rest of the trims get the 2.0 version of this package. It equips numerous additional driver assistance features, including Blind Spot Monitoring and Forward Collision Warning.
Excellent Infotainment and Connectivity
With a 5G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and SiriusXM with 360L, it’s hard to feel disconnected or bored on your journeys. You can connect to the internet with ease and stream lots of great content via apps on your smartphone or with SiriusXM.
If your passengers will be using their smartphones on long trips, then they can keep them charged up using the two USB-C ports in the third row, the two USB-C ports in the second row, or the numerous USB ports in the front. The Media Hub has a USB-A and a USB-C port, and the Center Console has a pair of USB-C ports.
The Ford Digital Experience
The 2025 Explorer is the first-ever Explorer with the Ford Digital Experience. This feature lets you customize your infotainment screen, download apps from the Google Play store, and personalize various settings. Settings you can customize include your steering wheel, exterior mirror, and driver’s seat preferences. You can even sign into your Google Account to pull up saved maps and get personalized Google Assistant results.
This software is standard, and it has a ton more functionality than we’ve described here. You can even play games and watch YouTube videos through the system.
Traveling with Lots of Luggage
Traveling with everything you need is easy in the Explorer thanks to its large cargo capacity and its towing ability. You can tow up to 5,000 pounds when your Explorer is properly equipped. The Class III Trailer Tow Package is standard, so every Explorer is made to tackle some towing. With the second and third rows folded down, you can travel with 85.3 or 85.8 cubic feet of luggage in the cabin, so you can transport lots of luggage without towing, too.
